It is just a couple of minutes walk from Praia Grande beach which has a selection of bars and restaurants and water sports in the summer months. In the other direction (5-10 minute walk) is Ferragudo town with numerous bars, restaurants and small shops. From Ferragudo you can get a water taxi across the estuary to Portimão Marina or main town.
